Weekend Plans? Come to Foodies Festival, Alexandra Palace!

Good morning, you gorgeous lot!

I’ll not lie to you, I have a busy week ahead and may be a little quieter than usual… I have a lovely wedding cake to make for the weekend and preparations to do for Foodies Festival at Alexandra Palace.

If you are in or around North London, I would love to see you at this wonderful event. I have been lucky enough to travel around the country with the Foodies crew and can honestly say that this year’s events have been bigger and better than ever!

If you happen to be at the show on Sunday 28th August, you won’t want to miss my Burlesque Baking session at 1:30pm where I will be joined by a very special celebrity guest. I’ll be teaching him to make a candy coloured cake, covered in delicious sweeties… it could get messy!

You can expect to eat your own weight or more at the many incredible stands, or nibble your way through free samples in The Cake & Bake Theatre – which is where you will find me and my cakes.

I will be baking twice daily; showing you how to bake and decorate the most showstopping Pistachio & Raspberry Cake AND how to get the icing on the cake with flair in my Burlesque Baking routine. Come to one show or both – you will learn loads, from basic baking techniques from a seasoned (feeling VERY seasoned this week!) professional to sugarcraft skills to last a lifetime of celebrations.

Tickets are available via the Foodies Festival website.
