Squires Kitchen Exhibition 2017

What a wonderful weekend I had at the 31st annual Squires Kitchen Exhibition. Though it is far from the largest cake show of the year, held in the labyrinthine Farnham Maltings, it is one of the most inspiring.

Squires Kitchen have been innovating with their sugarcraft products since the late 80s. Founded by a genuine sugarcrafter, the company works closely with professionals to develop the products that they need to make beautiful cakes – from professional grade sugarpaste that tastes great too, to dependable sugar florist paste for sugar flowers, to well-behaving edible paints for watercolour painting on icing.

Here are a few of the wonderful cakes and cake makers that I met over the weekend.
