I am so proud to live in beautiful Bedford. Chris and I left London in February 2015 and moved into the most wonderful community of creatives and, frankly, weirdos… I can say that because they are my friends and I love them. The last eighteen months have been some of the most creative and inspired that I have experienced and my local network is 100% to blame for this. The picture above shows some of us, off duty, at the society wedding of the year this summer.
From my beautiful rebrand and website design by Jason Kahl Design, to the business ideas that I come up with during long excited conversations (and inappropriate WhatsApp messages) with Sarah Dunn of Sarah’s DooWop Dos, to rediscovering my love of playing live music at local jam nights and filling my home with artists, musicians, creative souls who happen to live within a 10 minute radius. Right down to the redesign of my kitchen by Wickes Bedford and its construction by local tradesmen, Bedford has been instrumental in making 2016 one very eventful year from start to finish!
So I am beyond thrilled to have my first article published in The Bedford Clanger, our local rag dedicated to the artistic side of our wonderful little town. If you live in town, you will be able to pick up a copy of the Clanger on your rounds but, for those of you further afield, I wanted to give you the chance to read my article online.
You will also get the lowdown on the time I baked with GBBO winner, Candice Brown, at Foodies Festival Christmas in London. Check out my article today and have a look at all the amazing things that go on in this fantastic place.
Stay gorgeous!
