What a fabulous day we had at This Morning Live yesterday! I must confess to feeling like a total part-timer, rocking up fresh as a daisy for the final day of a hugely popular 4-day show. The exhibitors, crew, and presenters who had been there for several days had all been working so hard to make this inaugural show a success.

Eamonn Holmes gets surrounded by the ladies and doesn’t seem to mind too much!

The Queen of Cakes meets the Queen of Soaps! Sharon Marshall picks up some cake tips and shares a few soap secrets.
I baked a couple of rainbow cakes on the Food & Drink stage, with the rather wonderful Andrew Dickens as my host. Funny, we have known each other for years and this was the first time we have shared a stage! Here’s hoping it’s not the last.
Today I would like to bake a cake for everyone who attended the show over the last 4 days. I can honestly say that the crowds were some of the friendliest that I have ever met. Thank you to those who took the time to chat to me!
If you were at the show, I would love to see your pictures and hear your memories from the weekend. I’m on all social media channels as @restorationcake and if you use the hashtag #TMLive all of my fellow presenters will be able to have a look too!
We really would not have had such fun without you all being there. Thank you for your participation, your laughter, and your applause. We live for that!
Here’s hoping we will see you again at This Morning Live 2 very soon…
Stay gorgeous!
