I’ll not lie, I have been a working on a bit of a slower pace last week and this week. Having been out on the road for four weekends in a row, I was in need of a rest. However, I am incapable of really stopping and relaxing, so I have instead treated myself to little outings and occasional skiving off – last week, I went to see Take That at the O2 and I had a lovely long Friday lunch which may have included a few cocktails and a bottle of Prosecco.
Life’s all about balance, right?

We all had the best time in Newcastle and you made us so welcome. To everyone who came along, all of the chefs would like to say a huge thank you. No matter how much we may love our jobs and feel like the luckiest folks in the world, having your smiling faces and wonderful energy makes the weekend a million times more fun!
After a couple of quiet weekends, the Foodies Festival tour will be back on the road at Cannon Hills Park in Birmingham 23rd-25th June and at Blackheath in Greenwich, London 7-9 July. Tickets are still available and we have a great line up of chefs ready to reveal to you shortly!
