I do love a little animal print. I’m also not scared to double, triple, or even quadruple leopard in some outfits! For these pictures, I have restrained myself to only the stunning Lauren Leopard Print Pencil Dress by Voodoo Vixen and a pair of leopard print Luxulite earrings.
I wore this rather fabulous frock for day two of Foodies Festival in Brighton.
The weather could not have been more appropriate for this exotic look! There was not a cloud in the sky that day.
Looks like I am on holiday, right?
The dress is in a soft cotton which feels almost moley to the touch (I am struggling to think of a better word to describe the feel of the fabric!), it hugs the figure without clinging or riding up at all. The cross straps are adjustable at the back of the dress so that the bust can be loosened or tightened as required. I am wearing mine on the tightest setting to ensure that all is safely gathered in!
As with all Voodoo Vixen clothing, the Lauren Leopard Pencil Dress washes at 30 degrees and comes out lovely, meaning that you can go out and play in this dress without worry. Run, jump, cook (if you’re me!), roll on the beach with your lover. Have fun.
I accessorised my dress with the aforementioned leopard print Luxulite earrings, a hair flower from Silly Old Sea Dog, and a red elastic belt. My shoes are from Rocket Originals and are the most comfortable pair of vintage-inspired shoes I have ever owned. The ‘Marie’ style is a little higher than the traditional vintage wedge, so perfect for a stiletto addict like me! They are much kinder on my feet though.
Are you brave enough to take on the leopard? Channel your inner Bet Lynch and you’re sure to look fierce in this frock.
Stay gorgeous!
