Florals? For Spring?
It’s bright, it’s bold, and it’s seriously colourful; the Judy dress from Voodoo Vixen has fast become a wardrobe staple for these inbetween days. The sun is shining and the days may be warm but sleeves are still a very smart idea!
I’ve paired this dress with a cropped red suit jacket from Glamour Bunny a few times to allow me to stay out late in it.
I’ve popped a cheeky petticoat underneath it to up the impact of the full skirt. I’ve mainly just done this whilst sitting around in my kitchen, as you do.
I’ve worn it on chilly afternoon walks and enjoyed the sunshine in it. I’ve worn it on stage and sat around eating pizza on a friend’s sofa in it.
Once again, Voodoo Vixen has come up smelling of roses (and a full bouquet of delights!) with an infinitely wearable dress that not only suits all occasions, but washes at 30 degrees.
Priced at only £50, I am fairly certain that I’ve got this down to under £5 per wear already. I dare say I’ll get it down to £1 per wear very soon!
SHUT THE FRONT DOOR! I’ve just checked and this dress is now reduced to £25 in their Easter Sale. Click here or on any of the photos in this post to get your hands on one of these frocks.
Or, to get your hands on the Chocolate & Parma Violet Cake recipe that I put together for Voodoo Vixen’s own blog, click on the cake below!
I’ve been lucky enough to snag a few more pieces from Voodoo Vixen’s summer collection – I’ll show them off soon enough – but I highly recommend that you check out this rather lovely brand. They may not be the biggest vintage reproduction brand out there but their collections are getting better every season and I’m a huge fan.
Stay gorgeous!
