I am completely thrilled to be returning to The Cake & Bake Show this Autumn.
Throughout October and November, I will be appearing in London, Manchester and, for the first time ever, in Edinburgh, taking my Burlesque Baking show on the road to you.
I cannot wait to meet all of you lovely Scottish bakers!
You can find all of the details of my classroom demonstration times and links to buy tickets for each show on my events page.
I’ll be in London 2-4 October, Edinburgh 30th October – 1st November, and in Manchester 12-15 November.
But what will I be up to? Here is a little breakdown for you so that you can choose the best demonstration for you.
If you have ever wanted to make your cakes that little bit more glamorous, join me as I demonstrate how to perfectly cover a cake in sugarpaste and decorate with a flourish of royal icing. The design that I will be demonstrating is my Polly Rae cake from Burlesque Baking and this is the PERFECT entry level class for aspiring cake designers.
Wired Sugar Roses
This class will be the ultimate introduction to wired sugar flower making. Learn how to make a large wired rose, perfect to crown any celebration cake – from Wedding Cakes to Christmas Cakes! Seriously, if you can nail a large wired rose, you can have an entire career in cake making! Plus, these technique will open the door to other more complex sugar flowers.
Really Really Red Velvet Cake
For the first time this Autumn, I will be in the Super Cake & Bake Theatre making my infamous Red Velvet Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting. If you have ever wanted to make a truly red Red Velvet Cake, I will share all of my tricks and tips, and probably share a slice of cake too! As an aside, my Red Velvet recipe is dairy free… I will give instructions for how you can make this cake 100% vegan and there will be vegan samples too (sans cream cheese, with vegan vanilla frosting though!).
So book your show tickets and classroom tickets today and I shall hope to see and feed as many of you as is humanly possible over the coming weeks!
