A Rather Rock’n’Roll Raffle for Macmillan Cancer Support

I know that I sound like a broken record but with only one week to go until Macmillan Cancer Support ‘s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, my own little event gets more and more fabulous.

For those lucky enough to be attending my vinyl party at 44 Harpur Street; The Business Parlour on Friday 30th September, we will be holding a rocknroll raffle!

There are some great bits of music and music memorabilia up for grabs, including:

A signed CD single of Rick Wakeman’s Life on Mars tribute to David Bowie

A signed copy of Half Life by The Eden House (perfect for fans of The Mission, NFD)

A whole stack of vinyl records donated by the gorgeous folks at Beggars Group… check out the list!

19 – Adele
25 – Adele
Sound & Color – Alabama Shakes
The Greatest – Cat Power
The L-Shaped Man – Ceremony
What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World – The Decemberists
Return to the Moon – Elvy
Plowing into the Field of Love – Ice Age
Demolished Thoughts – Thurston Moore
Trouble Will Find Me – The National
Nothing New (Record Store Day 2014 Exclusive) – Gil Scott-Heron
A Moon Shaped Pearl – Radiohead
Actor – St. Vincent

And my own personal favourite, a framed copy of our event poster signed by Tony Visconti, the legendary producer who recorded David Bowie, T. Rex, Thin Lizzy, Morrissey, and so many more. Tony is a living legend and, as of Monday this week, a doctor too! More on this in next Monday’s post…

And we have more prizes to be announced as they come in! I am beyond grateful for the generosity of the music industry.

Raffle tickets will be available at £1 a pop so bring plenty of money with you to the party on 30th September. All proceeds will go to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Full details of my Macmillan Vinyl Party are found by clicking on the poster below…

If you are planning your own Coffee Morning event, I wish you all the very best of luck and hope that you raise loads of money!

Stay gorgeous!
